You’re listening to the casual swinger podcast as your host. We need to warn you that the material you’re about to hear may be sexual or explicit in nature. This podcast is intended for an adult audience. Now we don’t expect you to act like adults. What’s the fun in that?

Mickey Gordon  00:22

We’re a married couple living in Florida with over 13 years of experience in the lifestyle and we take almost nothing seriously. Casual swingers a variety show meaning we’ll cover everything from music to events, travel, and even the occasional hilarious screw up. Our show was about entertainment. We’re not licensed professionals had anything and our stories, commentary and guidance should not be confused with the opinions of a licensed professional.

Mallory Gordon  00:46

Now that you know, let’s take those pants off and get comfy.

Mickey Gordon  01:01

Hey, everybody, welcome back to casual swinger. I’m assuming you’re coming back. Maybe no one will come back. But my name is Mickey.

Mallory Gordon  01:06

And I’m Mallory, and we committed to two episodes in a row. And here we are.

Mickey Gordon  01:10

We don’t have to apologize this time. No, I’m

Mallory Gordon  01:13

sorry. Not sorry.

Mickey Gordon  01:15

Maybe we should just sit here and record a year’s worth of episodes back to back to back to back to back to do it. And

Mallory Gordon  01:19

we got enough whiskey here to do it.

Mickey Gordon  01:20

Yeah. Well, the slurred words will not turn anybody they’ll just have to listen in cursive. Okay, wait, yeah, yeah, they can just listen on if they listen on double speed. That will Pro that

Mallory Gordon  01:29

makes it hilarious. Sounds like we’re speaking in tongue.

Mickey Gordon  01:34

Oh, you like it? When people speak in tongue? Yes, I

Mallory Gordon  01:36

  1. Specifically below my belly button.

Mickey Gordon  01:39

Alright, I’m gonna walk you right below your belly button and see what you see.

Mallory Gordon  01:42

I’ll probably like it. I’m twisted like that.

Mickey Gordon  01:46

Hey, so we’re coming back to really just kind of talk about what this episode is to us. And this is gonna be a tough one. I think for us to get through this episodes, call it a family is born as what I wrote down for a working title for this episode.

Mallory Gordon  02:01

Oh, that’s interesting. Also sounds like we may be going through like how babies come to this world.

Mickey Gordon  02:05

But that’s right. Here’s how babies are made the birds and the bees. I actually think chapter one.

Mallory Gordon  02:09

That’s a lovely title. It’s um, it’s the best kind of challenging to try to work through because we’ve spent the better part of a month to just absorb and digest everything that transpired over this trip. You know, we put a lot of sweat equity, a lot of labor intensive efforts into it. And I don’t mind saying that out loud. It was fucking worth it. I think we got back for ourselves personally. 10 fold. What we physically put in on the emotional side. It’s I’m still a little bit speechless, and I’m not wanting to get choked up and my emotions. I’m the weirdo that’ll go hide in my closet and dark. And then Yeah, cuz you’re my human like, I can feel vulnerable with you like that. But even with myself, like I’ll go hide in a dark corner and just have my moment. So I’m gonna try not to cry, but I can’t make any promises.

Mickey Gordon  02:58

Yeah, it it really was worth the effort. And it’s funny, you know, leading up to the trip. Certainly talking to John from World exotic travel. Who is our travel agent that handled arrangements for

Mallory Gordon  03:11

a shout out to those guys for Yeah,

Mickey Gordon  03:15

they did. They did a very good job. Was it perfect? No, but no first time doing anything is if you remember your first time riding a bike you probably eat shit. I have scars under Oh, that’s

Mallory Gordon  03:24

not where I went when my head I’m like I remember my first time Whoo, buddy. Exactly. Oh, yeah. For sure.

Mickey Gordon  03:32

Probably bank until they caught fire. I

Mallory Gordon  03:34

know what an orgasm was where a lot lot longer.

Mickey Gordon  03:38

My first time having sex was a disaster too. So anyway, yeah. So your first time doing anything that matters to you, you’re going to maybe over examine it and look at all the things you could have done better. But we having had so much experience hosting at Hedo before, had a really long list of things that we felt like mattered, we felt that they would matter to people and what I kept hearing from people like John and some of my friends in the business, were saying you’re doing too much you’re doing too you don’t have to do that much people are going to have a good time no matter what. You just don’t subscribe to that.

Mallory Gordon  04:11

I don’t know that that’s who we are as humans because, you know, we’ve we’ve had experiences there, many of them and we had a vision we had a vision of the experience we wanted to curate for everyone but also given the opportunity to build our own adventure at the same time. Exactly. And we’ve been talking about the seriously for three years. Yeah, when you really look at it, it’s been more than three years that we’ve been looking at this opportunity and we we’ve been eyeballing

Mickey Gordon  04:40

it for six and we’re gonna get into that we come back into the episode and talk about kind of how this happened. So people are on the trip heard me talk about it a lot because I think that’s all I did was talk for three days but you know, some news for you guys. We have our contract. We got our contract this week for 2020 for word

Mallory Gordon  04:58

knocking funny enough to do You would again, doing this shit again. So

Mickey Gordon  05:01

if you listen to this episode and you go, wow, I want to be a part of that, then you can, that’s we would love it if you wanted to be a part of what we do. And you’re going to hear all about our perspective. And then we’re going to do a bonus episode. That is all of our attendees, talking about their experience that

Mallory Gordon  05:21

is so cool. I have goosebumps. And that’s probably where I’m gonna get an emotional is the compilation of the audio files that we got back from our friends that attended this event. Yeah. And I feel very lucky. Like we they’re really family

Mickey Gordon  05:36

struggles to listen to it, to be honest with you. It was

Mallory Gordon  05:38

tough, in the best way again, in the best way because it hits so hard in the fields, just to really good just to know they had such a great time.

Mickey Gordon  05:46

And we may be putting together a small fall trip.

Mallory Gordon  05:50

Now we’ll see. We’ll see how that shakes out. I think worst case, we’re gonna put together

Mickey Gordon  05:54

something. Yeah, something somewhere, somehow we’re gonna do something for fun. I

Mallory Gordon  05:58

don’t want to make any promises. We have a few, you know, calls out, let’s see what is possible.

Mickey Gordon  06:03

I want to do something affordable. I want to do something that people don’t have to take out a mortgage.

Mallory Gordon  06:09

I was gonna say NASA want to do something manageable. Because when you look at the second half of the year, a lot of people have their like PTO. We’re coming up on Christmas, too. Right. Exactly. Exactly. There’s a lot of events and stuff that happen. So So I want to make sure it’s it’s digestible.

Mickey Gordon  06:23

Yeah, I’m thinking possibly something in the states in over a weekend. But we’ll see. Yeah, I

Mallory Gordon  06:28

like that thought.

Mickey Gordon  06:29

Anyway. So where are we then we’ve been to Hedo that’s where we’ve been. We’ve been to some other stuff. I mean, but mostly it’s been. It’s been travel. I mean, honestly, mostly for Mrs. Milford. Yeah, that’s true. Yeah, that’s it’s stuff supporting our other brand. Yeah. And I don’t mind that. I mean, it’s kind of like we’re still in the lifestyle, even though it really hasn’t necessarily been a lifestyle. It’s been like, Hey, let me get the camera. You guys just hold that thought?

Mallory Gordon  06:59

Yeah, it’s um, it’s definitely a change of pace versus the years past. And but I’m enjoying being able to do that with my favorite person.

Mickey Gordon  07:07

Yeah, I have fun doing it with you. I’ve never seen my deck on camera this much. But hey, whatever. I love it. My dhikr the camera.

Mallory Gordon  07:14

Yes. Speaks to everything about me as

Mickey Gordon  07:19

hearing all these people talk about my day.

Mallory Gordon  07:21

I am so happy that we’ve gotten feedback on it. Because I’ve been telling you how great it is for years. And now like this is basically a fucking advertisement for your cock.

Mickey Gordon  07:30

So well. It’s only weird because it’s usually you did it again.

Mallory Gordon  07:33

You fish and I bet. Usually I call you on your bullshit.

Mickey Gordon  07:37

I’m not fishing, or whatever saying.

Mallory Gordon  07:41

Yes, well, yeah, that’s fair. But just from Derek and Jess will call you on that she’s

Mickey Gordon  07:45

in every time

Mallory Gordon  07:46

holler. Oh, every time you’re gonna get a text as soon as she hears this.

Mickey Gordon  07:50

Oh, probably. Yeah. And I just want to point out that we were with Derek and Jess, for Simone. Eight days. And then she didn’t touch my penis once in the pool, because I don’t think we were in the pool together one time.

Mallory Gordon  08:06

No, I have to agree with that. It was very much that they were so amazing, weren’t they? They were fucking amazing. I

Mickey Gordon  08:13

mean, first time hosts acting like seasoned pros. They were amazing. I

Mallory Gordon  08:18

we know it we both knew because they’re natural leaders. And they’re just the best kind of human on the planet. Like if, again, wonderful barometers. If you don’t like them, there’s something wrong with you. Yeah, for sure. 100%. They just did such an incredible job. But you’re right. I think there was a lot of dividing and conquering. And it was so nice to have two people that you love and trusted so much to know that that was something that could happen. And there’s so much they just did by like, just drove natural instinct. We caught that ball early on. I just don’t know that they I don’t know if they knew that about themselves. I think maybe they did, but maybe not to that degree. I was so worried they were gonna be overwhelmed. And they just think it’s funny. He killed him

Mickey Gordon  08:58

worry about things differently. You know, I think because just as a planner, yes, that so she worries when logistically she doesn’t know exactly how something’s gonna play out. Where Derek worries, so

Mallory Gordon  09:12

she’s really good at efficiencies. Yeah, like, like I love because I can relate, like, identifying potential pitfalls, like in discussion. And just like calling an audible there. I love that.

Mickey Gordon  09:22

Yeah. So I think Derek worries about the same things that I do, that he’s making sure he can be there for people and that he can take care of this. And he’s he’s a nurturer. Kind of like I am.

Mallory Gordon  09:33

Yeah. Asking a lot about experiences and expectations for the means. Yeah.

Mickey Gordon  09:38

And God, they were just in their own ways. They were amazing. It was so cool. To see I actually saw Derek grow as a host and as a leader during that trip. It was really cool to see I enjoyed it very much. And you know, it’s we knew we knew going into this how amazing they were going to be anyway.

Mallory Gordon  09:57

I think my biggest fear was overextending. was too much of them. Exactly, exactly. I didn’t want them to overextend or put them too far out of their comfort zone either. But I did love watching people. And I think I said this before, actually, we said this on our aftercare video that we sent to every attendee that I loved watching people interact with them and fall in love with them the same way we did the first time we met them. Yeah, that was pretty it was not gonna do it. Not gonna cry, but it was not a lot of episode left. But it was one of those like, moments that you capture in your mind and ingrain it forever. Yeah, like just and it was so innocuous on its surface, like watching that happen, but so impactful at the same time.

Mickey Gordon  10:39

All right, and that is the beginning of our love letter to the corn fed swing. Anyways, so much to talk about where, you know, obviously, you guys haven’t heard from us really in the last five months. And we talked about it a little bit in the whiskey episode tale of two tails, which we never did tell anybody why we call it a tail the two tails, but that’s okay.

Mallory Gordon  10:58

Oops, I think we did and the the bread bread of the hippo, we might have meat, the meat that’s presently outside.

Mickey Gordon  11:06

I put the bread on

Mallory Gordon  11:07

the inside.

Mickey Gordon  11:08

That’s always the meat in the middle of the sandwich. It’s always two dudes. And you told you I’ve been getting words wrong. It’s okay. Just keep drinking. You’re doing great.

Mallory Gordon  11:16

No, I need to slow down. I’ve only had one, just play behind me.

Mickey Gordon  11:21

But we did have, you know, while we were at hito. And I think next to nobody on our trip knows this. Mallory’s grandmother passed away while we were there,

Mallory Gordon  11:30

Alec, pretty, not really early on the week. It was early. Second day. Yeah, it was a second official full day. And that was really hard. Like really

Mickey Gordon  11:41

was brutal. But she had been ailing for quite some time. Yeah,

Mallory Gordon  11:44

she had she took us she took a turn when we knew she took a turn before we left for the trip. And you know, thankfully right there’s there’s a double edged sword. Because it’s really hard to cope with, you know, grief and passing you know, it’s really because you don’t want them to suffer. But it was a lot quicker than we anticipated, which was at the end of the day a blessing because you don’t want someone you love to suffer. And I couldn’t be there for my family. You know, we had we had this commitment and clothes pros play hurt, right? But we did entertain me possibly leaving early ones like the dust settled, but there was really no potential for me leaving at all, like the flights that were available to leave, were just not awesome. Like I would get home 1212 hours early. It was just it was not beneficial to myself or the group or you so we made a judgment call. And I just kept in contact with family. You know, I think they did a good job. handling everything at home they had to write and

Mickey Gordon  12:41

it was brutal. And we’re watching you go through it.

Mallory Gordon  12:43

It was like there’s a lot that happens behind the scenes. And you know, we don’t want to spill the tea too much. Right. We don’t want to damp and all the wonderful things that came out of this but if I just hope that I still showed up. You didn’t take my part. You were amazing. No, it was it was it was hard. But again, it was still absolutely incredible week

Mickey Gordon  13:05

you are the picture of proves play hurt you really Yeah. Yeah.

Mallory Gordon  13:09

I was really good at compartmentalizing until I wasn’t I think we got on the plane to come home and I just yeah, that was it. I had no I had nothing lifted me to compartmentalize

Mickey Gordon  13:19

that woman sitting next to you Did she ever occasion should not look the way we did. Yeah, yeah. Oh, good. Now we were sick that it just we had to hit Oh, crud. something fierce. Yeah,

Mallory Gordon  13:31

it was it was not not pretty? No, not at all. But

Mickey Gordon  13:35

so let’s talk about some of that a little more fun casual toys as a new item in stock. I brought these in. I had Chinese kids make them just for you guys. I’d make that joke all the time. Or Chinese listeners probably hate us. But the I think we actually have a couple of listeners in China, ironically enough, but anyway, so we have a new toy. It’s called the Oh, eruption. Yes. You took it for a spin recently?

Mallory Gordon  13:59

I did. I did. I think it is. And this is not me being biased. I think it’s my favorite of that one category. I’ve tried the enjoy, which is very, very popular. It’s kind of like a cult favorite in this genre. And then there’s another one like it called blonde blonde who poop and that one I didn’t like and I only I didn’t like that one because it has this textured element you call it the stegosaurus Yeah, so yeah, back. It’s a little orange back in there and it did not. It’s a little too abrasive. Honestly, for that design. They don’t know what or how maybe I’m using it wrong but it didn’t like it plus I wasn’t a fan of the weight and how it’s dispersed because they felt like the skinny end had too much weight to it versus the fat and like it almost felt balanced like a sword which was strange. Interesting. So too much balance. Yeah, way too much balance. I liked that. The Oh eruption has a little more grain to it as far as like it’s weightiness, and all of it is in the fatter end which I prefer because from a masturbation perspective and like that rocking motion especially if you’re a squirter like I can only imagine like, having, you know, to manage that end, right? Because that’s really like the end most people who squirt or use the visa to do it actually helped with the leverage. You know, obviously it’s going to add some weight to your carry on or your packed bag if you bring it it’s also doubles as a self defense weapon. Just FYI. 60 grams. Yeah, but it’s impressive. To me that don’t know what that is absolutely impressive. As far as how there’s really nothing else like it on the market. I’ve played with a lot of G sport toys. Most of them I’m not a fan of that one is a fucking huge Yes. And I swear, if I’m ever going to squirt, that thing’s gonna do it.

Mickey Gordon  15:49

Oh, yeah. I mean, we just shot a video with you using it. And it was so I came

Mallory Gordon  15:54

twice. Yeah. And I was like it. We don’t script it or anything when it comes to that kind of stuff because it just was gonna play out like you’re gonna come when you’re gonna come? Yes, you came to I’m gonna come hell my pussy tells me it wants to come. Yeah. And she was like, yes and again and that doesn’t happen very often, especially when you have a G spot or vaginal orgasm. Usually I have to migrate like clitoral vaginal, anal, some, like I have to mix it up. I usually can’t have back to back the same one.

Mickey Gordon  16:22

It was impressive. I was I was very, very, very turned on watching you do it. And I mean, normally I’m just focused on the technical aspects of a cameraman. I’m not really sure what’s going on.

Mallory Gordon  16:32

I know you’ve seen me for like the last 17 years and I’m still surprised that it doesn’t like get old hat for

Mickey Gordon  16:38

you. Oh, no, I will never get tired of watching Nouakchott. Yeah, it’s always like second time I think it got a little aggressive with it. You did it was hot. Yeah, it is. So this Oh, eruption is a curved stainless steel toy. It’s we call it a wand but it doesn’t have any functions to it. It doesn’t have any vibrations or anything. It’s just a heavy ass stainless wand. Something that people use it for and really enjoy it for is thermal play meaning you can put it in cold water you can put it in hot water and it will hold on to that temperature for quite some time.

Mallory Gordon  17:08

Oh so it’s good for because I’ve heard of people using Olympic glass and then refrigerate them like to help with like soreness down there as well. I bet I bet I can help with that

Mickey Gordon  17:15

very much so it would actually work for those girls that go like splash mocha for example. The girls who go to splash fuck all weekend. I mean they just screw and screw. I talked to Keith anklets Yeah, and he said that’s what so Keystone anklets will buy glass twice from us pretty frequently for splash and I recommended this because it’s smoother. It’s not ridged and it’s double ended and they can use they can use both ends to you know, cool down into bits when they’ve been screwing for a couple hours. And some of this was get some pretty big hogs splash on

Mallory Gordon  17:45

it so sterile because it’s stainless steel. Yeah, right. So easy to clean, so easy to clean.

Mickey Gordon  17:50

So it’s absolutely fantastic toy The best part about it is the comparable price owners $129 That’s what the other people charge. And because we’re casual toys and we have a sense of humor it is 69 bucks. I think that’s just the best price point the word but it also qualifies you for free shipping. So $69 with free shipping. And one more shout out before we jump into the meat of the episode and come back from a quick little break not like the last one we took which was five fucking months. I want to give a shout out to shop giving them abandonment

Mallory Gordon  18:17

issues if we can’t go there, they’re gonna love us sorry all right,

Mickey Gordon  18:22

there’s a shout out to topless travel.

Mallory Gordon  18:23

I got Mark and Chelsea right oh my god those guys.

Mickey Gordon  18:27

They’re so they’re entertainers for topless travel. Joe and Shelly were great. You know, we shared space with them at Hedo and they were so gracious. Mark and Chelsea just you know went before we went I reached out to mark and Chelsea and said guys, let’s show these guys a great time. There’s no competition here. We’re friends and marks like fuck yeah, that is exactly how we roll and he was right. That is exactly how they

Mallory Gordon  18:50

are. They’re just genuinely good people you can tell they enjoy what they do. They’re very much about taking their job seriously, making sure everyone’s having a good time and being light hearted, fun and engaging because they’re very dynamic as human beings anyway, so the fact that they’re entertainers is no surprise, I think they found a profession that suits them very, very well. And they’re good people and their people love them. And I’m so glad we had the opportunity we’ve we’ve known Mark or have been in the circle Lake. years. Yeah, spinning around and never had the opportunity to really work like this. And I feel so grateful that we had the opportunity to

Mickey Gordon  19:25

Yeah, absolutely. And if you’ve never met Mark and Chelsea, she’s absolutely beautiful.

Mallory Gordon  19:29

He’s like saying Holy shit,

Mickey Gordon  19:31

we’d ask loan. The best way he’s got a mohawk you wear shirts that say things like who ate all the pussy?

Mallory Gordon  19:39

His fucking laugh. Oh my God. His laugh is one of my favorite is

Mickey Gordon  19:42

a genuine laugh too when he starts giggling Yeah, it’s infectious.

Mallory Gordon  19:46

He tickles himself. Like he laughs at his own jokes, but not in that like they’re hilarious. They’re phenomenal. Narcissistic, like douchey way.

Mickey Gordon  19:53

Yeah. Absolutely love yours, too. It’s not very often when you work in a tight space And like you got two naked men standing in a DJ booth. And neither mark or I are little dudes. And we’re two naked guys standing at a DJ booth laughing our asses off trying to get like pass chords back and forth and not like cross the streams or anything was just absolutely hilarious. Yeah, we had a great time doing it.

Mallory Gordon  20:17

I put a condom on him by the way. You did. Oh, that’s right. You did put a demonstration. Oh, and then he flicked?

Mickey Gordon  20:23

He flicked out his house from his penis on this only at Hedo. Yes, where that happened. Anyway, we’ll get into that in a minute. We’ll be right back. We’re gonna take a quick break and come back and talk a little bit more about our Hedo trip that was casual swinger week. 2023 was just a couple of weeks ago. Tell you a little bit about our sponsors and some of our favorite events from the trip. So we’ll be back in I don’t know, a couple of seconds. All right. Listen to casuals.

Mallory Gordon  21:02

And welcome back to casual swinger. I’m Mallory.

Mickey Gordon  21:05

And I am Mickey with a glass of whiskey.

Mallory Gordon  21:10

It makes it easier to sing it when you’ve had a glass of whiskey

Mickey Gordon  21:13

is on my second one, so it’s even better I can see it.

Mallory Gordon  21:16

Good for you. Hey, before we get started, I just want to give a huge shout out to some of our sponsors. Something we did for this Hedo trip was we sent out trip boxes which is it’s pretty commonplace for mostly travel agents or groups to settle these boxes but I’m not gonna lie in doing and going to hate it this many years. And this is not being biased or narcissistic or tooting our horn. These boxes were dope. We had some badass trainers were amazing. And most of that is thanks to the following sponsors. We had some amazing stuff. Uber lube send 50 mil bottles for us to give to all our people. sports seats sent an under the bed restraint system and leverage system for fucking which people can use at home or bring on the trip. It was totally packable I coochie coochie showed the EFF up so when traveling you’re trying to reduce the amount of like liquids you’re bringing. They sent us so many travel backs like more than enough for the full week for both parties. Absolutely amazing. wickets and the flavored lube. Oh Andrew blue and handjob and blowjob lube which was absolutely credible and does not taste like chemicals by the way that strawberry was money

Mickey Gordon  22:26

we’re gonna have to ask how you know that I

Mallory Gordon  22:29

professional Dix Edgar reporting for duty, I suppose with their cock rings and slew of like, those gift buckets are amazing. And even new, they sent us PCs and these really dope ponytail. Those were amazing and so easy to put in. So that was really smart of them. Shameless care, which is a testing and Ed Med and company they also sent well or came as guests were the pole dancing and awesome breakin superstars by the way, how many times do we get to see them on stage over there? saw them

Mickey Gordon  23:08

on stage twice and they did two sessions. They they were like this the quiet rock stars of the trip?

Mallory Gordon  23:14

Yeah. Yeah. Like 100% I love I love that the quiet rockstars Yes, for sure. And of course you know casual toys because

Mickey Gordon  23:24

we did we brought we we added a toy cleaner. We did a cleaner bottle of toy cleaner for everybody. Yeah, in addition all the other shit that we put in the box. Oh man, it

Mallory Gordon  23:33

was amazing. We had these Yeti cups in the handles and

Mickey Gordon  23:36

got used for bondage instead of him. Oh

Mallory Gordon  23:38

my gosh, that was the best thing ever. I’ll never forget in the chat group when when you posted the example of it attached to the cup. Like the slew of like chats that came in like oh, and then we got the restraints like and we’ll show you the pictures of how they restrained each other and I’m like, these are my people. Yeah, I love where your mind went immediately like there’s no way they entertain that these were cup handles so

Mickey Gordon  24:02

we gave everybody 30 ounce Yeti tumblers and there’s 30 ounce Yeti tumblers we gave them paracord handles to go with them and if you’ve never seen a yeti handle it’s got off a loop to the bottom and a loop to the top

Mallory Gordon  24:14

it does to be fair it looks like restraint handcuffs that have loops in the end and ties in the middle yeah and it like almost like in like people were trying to figure out how to tighten them around there s was hilarious was

Mickey Gordon  24:26

insane and hilarious and people talking about using them for restraints manufacture people that didn’t bring them because they preferred to use them as restrictions hey all right

Mallory Gordon  24:36

rock on you hey that’s it’s dual purpose now we look like geniuses we should have just

Mickey Gordon  24:42

yes yeah slices it

Mallory Gordon  24:43

dices and it cuts hair.

Mickey Gordon  24:47

So that was that was kind of crazy. one more shout out in terms of sponsorship and not to say that they’re necessarily sponsored because they were a partner on this but world exotic travel one more time. Those guys did a very good job. We were very least with him. If you have, obviously other travels, whether you want to go to Europe or a cruise or something like that, I would strongly recommend reaching out to those guys. They did a great job. They did.

Mallory Gordon  25:10

I definitely felt even when we it missed the mark, which it really didn’t often. It happens, right? Yeah, humans, whatever. I always felt supported. Yeah, I certainly

Mickey Gordon  25:21

something that happened that we couldn’t necessarily handle between them and us. And that is what we need. Yes.

Mallory Gordon  25:28

Yeah. Cuz we don’t have an expectation of perfection. We just have an expectation of partnership. And so and being able to solve problems together,

Mickey Gordon  25:35

just jump in, start Swinging with us. It was amazing. Yeah, that was fun. But, so the shout out of all shout outs, and we talked about it in the beginning. But Derek and Jess, one more shout out for those guys. Our host couple was unfuck. Unbelievable. Yeah. I love those guys so much. They did such a great job. So Well, before we get into our favorite moments, and you know, some of the people and the things that we really loved about this trip. Derek and Jess are just class X. And they have agreed to do next year to have they’re coming back. They’re so excited hosts. And we have a nother set of hosts for next year.

Mallory Gordon  26:15

But we’re not going to announce it just yet. Are we gonna leave it?

Mickey Gordon  26:18

Leave it a secret? Or we’re gonna leave

Mallory Gordon  26:19

it as a cliffhanger.

Mickey Gordon  26:20

You know, why don’t we leave it as a cliffhanger for now. Yeah. And maybe we’ll announce it on I wire show

Mallory Gordon  26:26

either their show or our show. Like I feel like I want them to be here with us. I want to be with them.

Mickey Gordon  26:35

I would like to do that again. I’m sitting across this table. Now of course that does give you guys a hint. Lou, now you know you can narrow down the field.

Mallory Gordon  26:43

These are teaser, Nighy, please or

Mickey Gordon  26:44

oh, well, I think you wanted him to pleaser. I’ve seen over the crush a couple of times. This one’s hilarious. They don’t

Mallory Gordon  26:56

like you because he’s like, you’re my crush. And I was like, What did you say? Because they Ross moving and I didn’t hear anything. Like I felt like a total dork.

Mickey Gordon  27:03

It was absolutely hilarious. Watching her walk around crushing, grinding over.

Mallory Gordon  27:07

Don’t stop calling me out.

Mickey Gordon  27:10

I’ve been telling his wife I have a crush on her for years. But let’s talk about just the people that came on this trip because I didn’t anticipate. So let me back up for a second. So we’ve been hosting for at Hedo for a long time hosted for the rascals. And what we have seen with new trips is that new trips take some time to go from being a group of people that booked in the same place to becoming a family. Yes, it takes two or three years.

Mallory Gordon  27:42

Yeah, I want to say it takes two or three trips to form that kind of bond. And I think I’m not trying to pat ourselves on the back or anything. Something that we did that helped is making sure everyone had a place and some time to get to know each other before the trip happened. And we did that a few different ways we did. And I think that helped. But I don’t think that gets all the credit. I think they get the credit, ie the human beings that showed up and and were open and vulnerable and positive and just brought so much energy to the table that it was infectious and contagious

Mickey Gordon  28:20

snowballed. It did. I think. I think it really started with Mitch and Cindy’s session on Sunday morning

Mallory Gordon  28:29

that that kickoff you you said that and I could feel the goosebumps from like my wrists and my ankles start to climb up to the trunk of my body. And that’s basically how that entire session went, is to watch everyone connect and listen. And stay engaged. And watch mentioned Cindy, who we love and respect so much. We’ve had them on the show twice for good reason. They’re natural leaders. They’re genuinely caring and loving and nurturing humans, you know, they they want so much for so many in it and it comes from such a wonderful place. And you have some of the most fascinating conversations with him. And I will say you’re on two different sides, but I’ve never seen you open up to another human being when it comes to something like perspective on religion, or oh, I don’t talk about or you don’t. And the fact that you engage with him as your wife says something to me about how you feel about him.

Mickey Gordon  29:26

True. True. So you know, show kind of backing up a little bit. Just so you guys know, so casual swinger. If you if you don’t count the last five months of our lives where you know, we weren’t really here is is a little over five years old. And in five years ago, when we started casual swinger, we had a fantasy that maybe one day there would be a casual swinger week. And as part of building toward that fantasy, we started to tell the world who we are, and by creating a show that isn’t just about sex. And it’s not just about the lifestyle. It’s about life, our style, you know, and that is a lot of things. It’s sometimes it’s cerebral. Sometimes it’s silly. I mean, I’ve had my asshole wax live on this show. People that it Well, I mean, it’s pretty much the epitome of being an asshat. And that’s what I did. But for me, I felt like this trip, really embodied casual swingers a whole like, what we’ve done for five years as a show is some of it was cerebral. Some of it was spiritual, some of it was silly. And it all came together in one big ball. And it was the coolest thing and you know, casual toys. When we started casual toys, I kind of had a fantasy that maybe one day it could support this trip, and it did. And it just, all these things that we built came together at one time. And it hit me like an emotional high sledgehammer to the forehead, like that. All of that work came together and this one week, and with people like Mitch and Cindy, where they sat down, and we’ve done two episodes on religion with them, and the circle of humans who chose to sit in a circle by the way, Dan, and the circle of humans started talking about their experiences with shame and religion and family. And we had four fucking former path for couples with former pastors who all happen to sit next to each other,

Mallory Gordon  31:23

or leadership in your church and they just by again, I’m gonna say Kismet decided to sit all next to each other and no one knew of this background prior and, again, goosebumps are happening, the contributions that were given during that day and this is day one. Everyone came in on Saturday morning, one day one morning one day when everyone came in on Saturday, we greeted people as they trickled in some people arrived early whatever and we’re just starting to get a no no folks a Saturday night was just kind of a free for all just trying to find your people when I couldn’t believe it. The the people that showed up day one, and and looking across the room and not maybe not knowing a single familiar face in there, felt so comfortable to share at such a deep level.

Mickey Gordon  32:12

And there were two or three times that you and I looked each other and we were tearing up because it was so amazing to see

Mallory Gordon  32:19

the three of you started tearing up and that’s when I started I was like I can’t compartmentalize when all of you are losing it

Mickey Gordon  32:26

was the first time this fuckers did that to me though. Yeah, yeah, I mean, just just crazy.

Mallory Gordon  32:30

It was as intense was so beneficial. And there were so many wonderful conversations that came out of it and a wonderful event that happened that I can say I’ve never witnessed or heard of in my life happening at Hedo.

Mickey Gordon  32:40

As matter of fact, I’ve done some homework. I’ve reached out to a few of our longtime friends people that you know, have to check with Howard. Yeah, Howard is probably the one that would know better than anybody. But I’ve talked to several people and no one knows of it ever happening. We actually had five days after that. So five days after the Sunday session, we had a legit baptism on the nude beach.

Mallory Gordon  33:03

Yeah, literally, literally in the water, all nude baptism. And it was one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever witnessed in my life. And if you had asked me a week prior, if I would willingly be an attendee at a baptism, I don’t know what my answer would have been then

Mickey Gordon  33:19

I couldn’t let that happen and not be a part of it like it not because it was a baptism because it was such a powerful moment for the person that when

Mallory Gordon  33:28

it’s it’s you, I think, especially as an adult, I don’t know that I can fully articulate what what a milestone that is, what a what a big, impactful moment that is for for them and to be willing to share it publicly on top of all that I said, which was off the cuff by the way,

Mickey Gordon  33:49

they just it was beautiful. But they didn’t repeat it. But why the gist of it was that the baptism for him represented more than a relationship with his creator. It represented his unwillingness to continue living his life authentically. shamefully. Yeah. He didn’t want to feel shame anymore for being who he is. And he didn’t feel like he had to anymore. That doesn’t mean he’s gonna go home and come out to his kids. I mean, he’s going to come home and come out to all of his friends. It just means he’s not going to be ashamed of it. If for some reason, someone were to find out and, and he doesn’t have to, because maybe he was made this way. And it’s okay. I thought it’s just the fucking coolest thing ever. I just enjoyed every second of it. You know, again, I have a very contentious relationship with my Creator. But, you know, he was, he was awesome. And Mitch and Cindy created that jacking kisi by the way, the other session which was a few days later, absolutely fucking awesome session on roleplay.

Mallory Gordon  34:57

I mean, they they’re there’s such a wealth of information and I’m sure the whole corporate presentation they did a whole I’m not surprised. I think the information they provided is probably one to 5% of the knowledge base that they have tons because at the end of the day, it does take a lot of I don’t want to say humility, but like, you can’t take it too seriously. You have to be willing to, to commit to this role to invest yourself and, and let your hair down per se. And I don’t know to other people that do that better than them. And they do it in in such a loving and positive way. It’s almost like a homing beacon like I can feel their energies at approaches in it’s just such positive energy. I don’t know it raise your hand if you outdanced Jack and kissy and I might call you.

Mickey Gordon  35:44

There’s no one that outdates Jack Yeah, Jack dancing at breakfast. Yes. Yeah, that motherfucker moves all day long.

Mallory Gordon  35:50

It was one of the most dancing honest trips. I don’t know if that’s a word dancing,

Mickey Gordon  35:54

just dancing Queens dancing fans, they

Mallory Gordon  35:57

were ever I’ve ever been on. I’ve never seen a disco that full that many nights. So that was awesome. That was incredible. And that’s a lot. Definitely Pepe

Mickey Gordon  36:03

proved me wrong on that one. Because she wanted to go down and do go to the disco. And I think it’s probably going to be dead. And it was not. Well, I mean, it was not she was right. I was wrong. Yeah. Which I mean, good for her. And by the way, I told you I think our group bullshit happy I would admit to being wrong on the show. And I just did it.

Mallory Gordon  36:23

Yeah, she’s screaming. And you also did Swft. For her. I didn’t and Lindsay and Allie

Mickey Gordon  36:28

and her and ally, they got their Taylor Swift. But, you know, I think people don’t realize the intention behind what we did by starting with shedding shame. And then bringing in someone like Jack and kiss you who by the way, have well in one of our most popular episodes ever, if not the most popular episode we’ve ever done. And to take shedding shame, and then playfulness, yeah. And put those on book and now that

Mallory Gordon  36:54

you don’t have any guilt associated with yourself. Let’s have some fun. Exactly. That was intentional people

Mickey Gordon  37:00

it was we did that on purpose. And the best part is our speakers delivered in spades because you guys dropped the shame on day one. And by the time it was time to talk about having some fun and playing and roleplay. And being your most authentic self and then making up a new self to be You guys were awesome, and so much fun. And they’re still doing it in our chat group, by the way, they are still going at it and talking about their role plays and the new ways that they’re having sex with each other and other people. And I just can’t get enough of it. I love reading it and seeing it and being a part of it. And I feel so goddamn grateful that we got to do that.

Mallory Gordon  37:39

Yeah, I don’t know that grateful really covers it as much as I want it to just maybe then add more words or expand my vocabulary. But yes, it’s on the same trajectory is that word?

Mickey Gordon  37:50

Yeah. It’s one of those things where it could have backfired and no one would have ever known because we didn’t tell them. We did that on purpose. It just kind of happened. And I mean, I had a feeling it would. I did I because I know I know Mitch pretty well. Yeah. And I was in the room. And I did. I did lead some questions. I did ask him a few questions. And afterward he’s like, You did that on purpose? Yes, I did. Yeah. He knows me well enough to know when I’m fishing for a conversation to start and it did man a delivered so good. You know, we had birthdays we oh my gosh, five or six birthday anniversaries? Yeah.

Mallory Gordon  38:33

It was an eventful week.

Mickey Gordon  38:34

Oh my god. milestones for everybody jumped on eight and his birthday cake for his wife and champagne for his wife. Which by the way, she does remember that birthday cake. And she didn’t remember it at all. She was fun. It was good cake. Not sad about it. But you know, all of those things. We got to do that. And that guy. I think that’s the theme for me for this trip. And for this episode. Is we got to do it. We were given the gift of this. You and I got to do this.

Mallory Gordon  39:03

Yeah. Oh, yeah.

Mickey Gordon  39:06

So fucking awesome. You know, it’s, I mean, the the stuff we did you know, the pool party. So we threw? I felt a little rusty with our pool party. So I gotta be honest.

Mallory Gordon  39:17

Well, I think we’re taking on a different dynamic. Yeah. Because well, when we made a judgment call on that one. And I think you had some feedback actually from the or one of our favorite humans about it. And she said, You need to be out of the out of the DJ booth.

Mickey Gordon  39:36

I think that lit me up. She said you sucked.

Mallory Gordon  39:40

Well, I mean, there’s there’s so many lessons learned that came away. And I’m so grateful that when we learn these lessons that they didn’t impact the group’s experience there. I think that if I had a concern that I was had anxiety over, that we knew that there were going to be hiccups like that. You just have to anticipate that when you do it. Since right, not everything’s gonna go to plan, you’ll almost plan to fail a little bit and just know that you have to be quick on your feet and figure out a way to mitigate or solve the problem.

Mickey Gordon  40:09

Yeah, but you need people like that you need people like her that you can trust.

Mallory Gordon  40:13

Absolutely. And because you You are the the maitre d, you are the ringleader, you’ve been up front is very, very important. So I think that was something that was missing a little bit, especially from Tuesday. I think Friday was totally different. Friday was a different animal entirely. I don’t know that everyone knows, but you got a little hammer taking shots. Oh, yeah,

Mickey Gordon  40:31

they got me fucked up. So hilarious corners. And what I do is I gather the people in the pool in the corners, and I sit in the corners of the pool and

Mallory Gordon  40:40

then take shots with Hello introverts. I see you hiding here.

Mickey Gordon  40:44

So when I see people gathered in the corners, and he don’t need pool, people do gather in the corners, partially because on one side of the pool, that’s where the roof is. And so if there’s any sun or right weather coming in, people gather over there, that’s also where the heat inlets are. It’s also close to the bar that’s also closest to the bar. And then on the other side. It’s just it’s a comfort zone thing for introverts, they like to put their back to something so they back into corners. And so those corners end up populated as well. We actually called the one closest to the DJ corner, Casual Corner, because so many of our people were in that corner.

Mallory Gordon  41:18

And if I went if anyone called me on my bullshit and said we don’t collect introverts

Mickey Gordon  41:22

out there they go, here we go. Yeah, look at them gathering amongst themselves and not talking to my ducklings. But so when I do four corners, I run around the pool like a crazy person in this case, I was shirt cocking and a Guns and Roses shirt and a slash hat with a slash wig. It was a good look on you thanks and ran around and made people do shots with me and just kind of lost my shit and like had I mean we had a full on single ongoing at one point to a good Bon Jovi. I mean, just shoot and then of course the cold air came in, which doesn’t happen very often in Edo with a

Mallory Gordon  41:55

little supplies but it is April I think we kind of in the back of our mind knew that was a possibility.

Mickey Gordon  42:00

blew through with some rain and some cold air and everybody got in the hot tub. So it kind of threw a wrench into that party because it was rocking at one point.

Mallory Gordon  42:08

I think I think the first half half was wonderful. Yeah, it was

Mickey Gordon  42:11

awesome. And we had a pretty good setlist. We’ve gotten a few requests for that setlist, so it was pretty good. Anyway, the games were an absolute blast games were a hoot, we some of them, we didn’t get off as much as we wanted to. So getting the chopper was one we wanted the guys to get up there and do some of it. But we ended up not having enough time. And then it was

Mallory Gordon  42:29

cold. And I’m like we’re gonna make the guys come up here and

Mickey Gordon  42:33

there. Yeah, when it got cold. It’s just not fair. Yeah. So and then, I think with blowjob karaoke, people kind of there was we learned a lesson right? I need to be on the other side of the pool. So you guys can see me in the DJ booth. So stuff like that. There’s just some lessons we learned that are just kind of fun, but crazy games had a good time. I loved it.

Mallory Gordon  42:55

Yeah. Now I

Mickey Gordon  42:58

know, something. But my favorite game of the week though, happened on the cat cruise.

Mallory Gordon  43:03

Oh my gosh, I’m so glad we brought vibrator road view back selfishly, I find it very, very hot. I was I volunteered as a participant for this one. I was a horse for another person and it was hot as fuck. I think that’s one of the hottest buy rodeos that we’ve ever had. So on the, the catamaran boats, if you’ve never been on one, how they’re constructed is there’s the front with like the pontoons, right. And there’s three of them effectively, and then in between them. There’s two nets where people can lay out. There’s a deck that runs parallel. Right. And then behind it, it kind of sinks down while the the the covered roof is in the chair. So we had everyone up on deck. And no one was missing that. Yeah. So everyone that was in the netted area was getting like a point blank view of everything that was going on. It was live porn show. Like, I don’t think you get to see anything like this outside of Amsterdam. No,

Mickey Gordon  44:03

no, no, that red light district is probably the only place you’re like that. Yeah, super cool. I mean, it was a lot of fun. And the girls had a great time. It was so much that people wanted them to keep going like we let them go. And it was like no, fuck that. Keep going. Yeah.

Mallory Gordon  44:14

Why are you getting them off the scene? I was like, vaginas are getting warm and hot and red and like a lot of rubbing like that means a break.

Mickey Gordon  44:20

There’s been like 18 orgasms on this deck right now.

Mallory Gordon  44:23

I think we don’t need a clitoris falling off.

Mickey Gordon  44:25

You know, that’s one of the times that those guys got to me though. When I was trying to thank everybody for their just kind of everything. They had dinner. We were talking. This was like Wednesday. I mean, this is middle of the week. Yeah, it was Wednesday. And they just just, I mean, I couldn’t hold my shit together talking to him. It was so so impactful for me to see them coming together and having fun and looking out for each other to date. It

Mallory Gordon  44:47

was a great party and then they run out of the boat and swim into the caves. Shout out to Marcia or fucking Captain Marcia sauce. She is a boss

Mickey Gordon  44:57

marshals our captain period. Yeah, she said That too she goes I will fight for this trip.

Mallory Gordon  45:04

And she’s one of the best captains we’ve had like the the weather they’re a little windy sometimes the waters depending on what side the closer you are can get a little choppy and she’s just, it was smooth. It was so freakin smooth. She kept us

Mickey Gordon  45:15

in the water kept the boat between us and some of the other boats too. Yeah. To keep people to keep people safe. So that was a big theme for us for this trip. One of the first things that I told him the big thing. Yeah, yeah, when we get people to the resort, one of the first things I tell them is to look out for each other. Right? Our job is to help keep you safe. But you got to help us to have fun.

Mallory Gordon  45:33

Yeah, those are the two things we want. You want you to be safe and have the best time of your life.

Mickey Gordon  45:38

Yep. And if you let us do the first we can do the second 100%. You know, and there’s a lot of conversation about that, you know, one of the things that we encourage people to do is something we call no close circles. And no, you know, if you’ve ever been to a lifestyle event, if you’ve ever been somewhere where people know each other, they tend to stand in a circle. And circles always have their back to somebody. Yes. There’s it’s just the way they’re built.

Mallory Gordon  46:00

We are not advocating for cock blocking either. No, that’s not the game here. But especially early on the week where people are starting to get to know each other. We think it’s important to make sure because this is a hito Montra this in mind body spirit, right? Yes, that is old school right there and the soul and the soul. And getting to know the people including the staff is a big part of that experience. Good Dude, your back turn and it’s very easy to shelter or insulate yourself when you feel a little when you’re when you’re getting your sea legs. Yeah, so opening that circle and allowing other people in really does I think I don’t know if that helps people get to know each other fast. No,

Mickey Gordon  46:43

it did. Because I’m walking around the pool. And I’m running around all over the place all the time. I’d never sat down. We all heard it said a lot. Yeah, we heard people saying, Hey, open the circle open up. And I’m like, Yeah, I’m like over there. Like pointing

Mallory Gordon  46:56

at him. It did look like synchronized swimming, like

Mickey Gordon  46:59

especially when they saw me coming. They’re like, open the circle.

Mallory Gordon  47:02

Or like the big circle would form and then little circles like they were like twirling around and like trying to figure out where I was great.

Mickey Gordon  47:09

It was it was just such a neat thing to see. The whole open the circle thing guys comes from a really simple mantra, which is you never made friends because somebody wasn’t being cool to you. Right? Your your friends you made friends you found your way somewhere because someone was cool to you. So I encourage everybody to be cool to each other open the circle and maybe you’ll make a new friend. And if they’re a douchebag you can kick them out right i mean that’s you don’t have to let them stay. But you know, let people in don’t turn your back to people and you might find the next amazing person in your circle of friends standing behind you and you never

Mallory Gordon  47:43

know they could be the person or the conduit to the couple that is lightning in a bottle for you never freaking know how that line is gonna happen.

Mickey Gordon  47:51

Simply don’t. You know now Shout Out Of course for the staff. The staff was fucking unbelievable.

Mallory Gordon  47:56

As always, as always, and I loved that there was a bunch of newbies first timers, they got to new staff. Oh, yeah, that was really

Mickey Gordon  48:03

good. Yeah. You know, it’s we had a lot of really great experiences with staff, just taking care of people and just going the extra mile for the people.

Mallory Gordon  48:12

Whatever what and this is, this is a little superficial, but it just, it made me smile so hard. We’re leaving and we’re, we’re they’re congested, we’re catching our boss back to the airport. And James, who’s got one of the brightest smiles on the resort was taking a picture and he’s like, hey, no worries, guys. I have three sisters. I know how to do this. Like he was like, I’m a professional picture taker at this point because my sisters don’t put up with shitty pictures because we were so busy during the week we had one picture and we were from the boat from the boat with a farm and we’re terrible about taking pictures when we’re worth nipples in it we can’t use Yeah, exactly. So it’s the only the only close picture we have for those guys.

Mickey Gordon  48:49

That is 100% true. You know one more event I do want to touch on we sponsored the glow party. Oh my gosh the glow party you crushed the glow party and I do you bought all that stuff. There were tables Phyllis she’s right.

Mallory Gordon  49:04

Well, I mean it was the theme was FlowerPower which was a little different. I’m like I’m not sure how this is gonna translate because there’s never been a theme night that has a glue element like that to it. And I found these cute crowns that Glinda and it just kind of went from there we had so much swag we brought enough

Mickey Gordon  49:19

for everybody topless travel everywhere. We went to something she kept parties, tats and pearls. Yeah,

Mallory Gordon  49:25

yep. And so something that is a mantra What were you talking about opening circles were very inclusive just because you didn’t book with us doesn’t mean you can’t party with us. We’re fucking friends with everyone. Absolutely no, there’s a there’s some elements that you have to provide exclusivity to your friends and clients and people come in the trip like the cocktail party every anyone can come in and hang out and have food and drinks but like the people that booked with us got the prizes.

Mickey Gordon  49:46

We $3,000 with the sex toys Yeah, that that

Mallory Gordon  49:49

cocktail or was also I’ve never seen that many prices given out and I’m going oh my god, what have we done? Well, yeah, it was an entire suitcase and a lot of money is wasted entire suitcase of sex toys. So Like a full size fucking 24 inch suit by the way, I

Mickey Gordon  50:03

love how TSA looked at you. Yeah.

Mallory Gordon  50:05

Oh yeah. Cuz they’re like, how many things can she put in her bat? And I’m like, Well, I barely know what it is. But I don’t know like, they’re just a lot of stuff. But watching

Mickey Gordon  50:16

everybody dance and well looking out over because you know, I’m taller and I go with the flow party. Yeah, yeah, we’re good to go. We’re just seeing everybody wearing our glow swag and partying there. It is cool. And then Derek led this group of them to get naked and jumped in the first time usually, nobody ever get to

Mallory Gordon  50:30

the pool. Am I crazy? Most of the trips that we’ve had the glow nights, the pool has been closed. Yeah, it’s

Mickey Gordon  50:36

usually close for cleaning. But I started they started doing it earlier. So you can get the ball now.

Mallory Gordon  50:40

Okay. Which is nice. Because when you’re out there dancing like that. It did a great job, by the way, did a great job.

Mickey Gordon  50:46

I was with him DJ extra. It was extra. Yeah. Yeah, he did a good job. It’s it was it was fun to watch. It was fun to see. So, you know, we got a couple of things. We’re going to talk about just our takeaways before we get out of here, guys. But you know, next year, March 30 through April 6. How are we going to top it? Well, you can help. Yeah, show up. Be Your most authentic self and come ready to be open and meet people that might change your life.

Mallory Gordon  51:17

happens to us every time we go and I’m Hi, I’m the luckiest duck in the pond. Yeah,

Mickey Gordon  51:23

you are just

Mallory Gordon  51:27

it’s probably the most vanilla thing I’ve ever

Mickey Gordon  51:31

took. Get you some cheese to go with your crackers?

Mallory Gordon  51:35

God, tell me no.

Mickey Gordon  51:40

I didn’t mean to ruffle your feathers. I’m sorry. Okay, any more puns. Yeah, you can duck off. All right, so Mallory tell us what if you had to name one thing from this trip that touched you personally? Not necessarily like all time favorite favorite moment was something that just really grabbed you? What would it be?

Mallory Gordon  52:05

This is where I lose it. And I know I’m going to lose it because I can’t stop whatever’s happening above my nose and below my forehead right now. Um, there were a few people and one couple specifically but a few people that that spirited the same message that they felt like their most selves. That week, they felt the most connected to the their person to each other, to the people, the person that came with to the people they met there, and they felt like they were forever change. And I selfishly, I felt like a lunatic. Because I had said that about my my first trips there and really every trip there because it’s, there’s nothing like it when you fully embrace an opportunity, an event like that, or a place like that. I feel like you say there’s magic in the sand. And and I couldn’t agree with you more. And you just open your heart, you open your mind. And it’s it’s like we found the meaning of life or our own version of heaven or the Garden of Eden or, or, or the Yeah, the Holy Grail. Like I know, those are very religious or euphemisms. But when we come back, and I look around, and I see people just getting through or going through the machinations of day to day life and and knowing that the likelihood of them feeling what I felt and what those people felt in those moments is very, very small. And it almost breaks my heart because it’s such a, a beautiful thing and to watch them. And I think you know who I talk, I’m talking about the conversations. It’s a couple that came in, they came together they’re actually their significant others were home. And they desire Okay, there are a desire together. So yeah, they’re beautiful and very fascinating, dynamic, and they’re there as individuals are coming into themselves to they had a really vulnerable moment in the thing with Michonne Cindy Oh, yeah. And you’re thinking about it’s I always felt like when I said I was overselling or being melodramatic, and wanting to know that I’m not alone in that experience. Makes me feel great as a person. But to know that someone else shared that I don’t have a word for it because I want it for everyone. I honestly feel like if everyone on the planet could have that moment to to have this five or seven days of feeling that way, it would be such a better place. Yeah. And and most people deserve it. They really, really do it. leave that at my core and I’m just so fucking overjoyed to see and hear other people having that and to watch it to watch it happen. I am speechless, utterly speechless to look around and see those moments I talked about people falling in love with Derek and dress and I can see people watching Pepe just like put her heart on the dance floor. And I put her heart everywhere everywhere like she was a little bit. And even Jack and Cassie who are Hedo vets and seeing them have such a great time. It was just it’s, it’s, oh, it’s such an overwhelming feeling in the best way humanly possible that I knew when we got home, I was going to tank right it was I was gonna tank down in the carpet. But I didn’t have actually helped carried me through it was don’t get me wrong with the passing and everything we dealt with. There was a little rough and I think having all of that to hold on to and to think about and distill, like, revisit today. It just makes my heart swell. I feel like the Grinch. Yeah. Three times. So I’m sorry for taking so much time to get through

Mickey Gordon  56:04

that your show and talk as much as you want.

Mallory Gordon  56:07

i What about you? I’m I can’t wait to hear your excuse. You’re gonna make me cry. No it.

Mickey Gordon  56:13

So there’s a bunch. All right, there’s a bunch. There’s so many conversations that I had with different people. And there’s there’s some that that would sound self serving if I told you what they said. But it meant the world to me to hear from some of those people, veterans who had been 30 times to hito and said that we actually made it feel new again. Interesting. And that would be the self serving conversations. But there was a conversation that I had with a gentleman His name is Bob. And less than 30 days prior to coming on the trip. He died.

Mallory Gordon  56:56

Yeah, legally. Yeah,

Mickey Gordon  56:59

and cardiac arrest. And he was dead for almost five years. Yeah. And not only was he on the trip, but they went to great effort to come on the trip, they had a lot of trouble and trouble with their flights, trouble with their transportation, things just didn’t go well. They had cancellations and all kinds of troubles in you know, we jumped in and tried to help them out with it. We had no idea who they were. When I got to know he and his wife. Just absolutely incredible to see them open up in the Mitch and Cindy session and talk about what happened to him. He didn’t talk about what happened to him during the sessions after when he came up to me and told me what he knows. And what he knows is that living is the most important thing we can do. And he didn’t miss that opportunity. He saw the opportunity to come with us and choose to live. And it hit me again, just like like a Mack truck, you know, to know that that, you know with his health, he could have chosen to stay home and just relax in

Mallory Gordon  58:04

the couch. That’s actually what most people would do. They want to insulate and self Preserve. Right? And

Mickey Gordon  58:08

he didn’t. And he shared that with me that that he felt like it was it was important to do that. It was also he felt important to let me know that you know that. Life doesn’t end when when it ends that he saw something. And I thought that that was incredibly powerful as well. They’re just crazy. But to lighten it up a little bit because I’m starting to get this so cocktail party on Sunday night. Somebody comes in grabs me and I’m flittering around the room. I’m talking to Hedo staff, I’m talking to the management. I’m talking to people.

Mallory Gordon  58:45

I’m pretty much beans with an army knife.

Mickey Gordon  58:47

I’m running around all over the place and somebody grabs me because you need to stand right here. And I’m like why? You need to stay. And what happened was I was turned toward the door and the door opened in a parade of beautiful women started walking through the door. And every single one of them was wearing what has been coined by our beautiful and amazing ambassadors as the casual bodysuit. They were all wearing it there were fucking 15 of them.

Mallory Gordon  59:19

What was great is what happened was some of these ladies had brought both of them because they come in red and black and share them with other ladies on the trip. They had this whole body. I have the frickin cutest picture of them standing on the balcony of somebody’s room. And it’s like all all of them all together prior to parading down to see you and they called you know what I love about that moment. They call themselves Mickey’s angels, and it’s one of the sweetest things I’ve ever seen like the endorsement of love to you. And as your wife like I cannot celebrate that enough because I know how amazing you are. And I tried to tell you As much as possible, but like I have not 15 hot women parading around for you, like, though Okay, when you die you’re gonna have to get 15 hot women in that that peaceful luxury like that shouldn’t be a thing.

Mickey Gordon  1:00:15

Oh, yeah, it was that beats the hell out of seven virgins. That was incredible. That was I don’t even know how to thank those ladies and holy Mickey’s angels thing.

Mallory Gordon  1:00:29

I don’t know that they’ll ever really know because my words don’t you’re you are the wordsmith of the family here. But just so you guys know it. That means so much to both of us. And I absolutely loved seeing you be celebrated and your efforts be celebrated in that fashion. And I knew I got pulled aside and like you do not want to miss this. Yeah. And I had no I had no idea what was coming. It was just as much as a surprise to me. I absolutely speech. I stood there with my mouth open countrywide. I had

Mickey Gordon  1:01:04

no clue. I mean, you and I were running really crazy. And you know, I feel so bad because occasionally you know, you’re in the middle of you’re in the middle of something and somebody’s trying to tell you something and you like snap at them and you’re like, Hey, I’m fucking busy hang it give me a second. And I hate to do that to people and I know I did it to a couple of people you know on the trip, but I came away from this trip. Genuinely loving every human being on it

Mallory Gordon  1:01:28

is absolutely incredible. I cannot point at a conversation I have that I didn’t fall in love with the conversation the person was there it was soup to nuts it was front to back and never stopped the only time we stopped is when we finally crashed and went to sleep. And there were there were so many we’re gonna miss we’re gonna miss so much. We had someone come out of their shell and perform great I mean for everyone and he was super fucking nervous and he knocked them out of the park for the Explorer God bless her Oh honorable freaking prolific nature just embracing

Mickey Gordon  1:02:03

for fun got up there. I mean in Jackie’s shit and one the whole thing I know dude once he shouted me out a mouthful.

Mallory Gordon  1:02:10

And there he is like just putting on a full like magic mic moment.

Mickey Gordon  1:02:13

Oh, yeah. And how about Mr. Electro himself long who?

Mallory Gordon  1:02:17

Yeah, I can tell we heard about that first thing at breakfast the next morning. Sorry about that

Mickey Gordon  1:02:21

extension cord, brother. But you know,

Mallory Gordon  1:02:24

it’s so many we’re gonna we’re gonna miss. We’re gonna

Mickey Gordon  1:02:27

we’re gonna miss people. Ladies. Barbara, do you? I mean, there’s so many things that happened

Mallory Gordon  1:02:31

conversations the pool at night. Like it’s just midnight pizza.

Mickey Gordon  1:02:36

You know, you and I barely ever made a pizza because we’re so twice. Twice. It was.

Mallory Gordon  1:02:41

Well, we made it past midnight. We just never got the pizza. No,

Mickey Gordon  1:02:45

we didn’t. And you know, Ali brought pepperoni and she said I could have some and I never got any I know. I’m so fucking tired. Yeah, I if I lived to be a million I’ll never forget that trip. I’ll never forget those people. I’ll never forget what they did for each other. I’ll never forget the way people walked Alicia back to her room every night. Because he knew I wanted her to have some we’re looking out for her.

Mallory Gordon  1:03:07

Oh, hold on. Oh my god, I’m naked in a pool.

Mickey Gordon  1:03:14

Oh my God, those guys spread their wings like nobody’s business so much

Mallory Gordon  1:03:17

so and I love seeing that people like I told you that they’re actually they’ve been hanging out with another couple like they’re gonna see each other and I don’t know the circumstances behind it. But I love like, these new and old worlds are coming together and people have formed like these relationships and like now their friends are wink wink friends. I don’t know. Like, it’s just I’m starting to ramble because I’m overwhelmed with emotion. We

Mickey Gordon  1:03:42

got to finish up because we’re sorry. Okay, but I want to point out my favorite thing that happened all week long. Because I looked around. I looked around at a group and I looked at around what was going on. And yes, we have some very physically attractive people in our group. But yeah, actually, yeah, we actually I kept hearing how hot our group was. And I looked around and what I recognized is that physically our group dynamic isn’t younger or in more better shape or anything than any other group think their

Mallory Gordon  1:04:17

spirit and energy says so

Mickey Gordon  1:04:19

there you go. Well, I our groups energy was so good. That made them hotter. And you know what, they are hot. They were high where they get some hot fucking people in our group and all of you I’m talking to all of you. I’m not singling out any of you, but they were energy made you irresistible.

Mallory Gordon  1:04:37

It did. It is sexy and fun. And yeah, it was it was everything. And as many times as we’ve been to Hedo. I can honestly say I’ve never felt that. But it’s volume and frequency. Never. Yeah, it was lightning in a bottle. And I think we’re going to do it again. Are gonna do

Mickey Gordon  1:04:59

now The funny part because I honestly believe that you and I gave everything we had to give that week.

Mallory Gordon  1:05:06

But they did it all. They did all the work they do. They made it. The best week they made

Mickey Gordon  1:05:11

me want to do it again. You make me want to be a better man they made me want to do. They made me want to do more and better and, and it

Mallory Gordon  1:05:20

wasn’t no i inspirational. I think that’s one of the words I wrote down when I was making notes post trip is is not just impactful, it was inspirational. Yeah.

Mickey Gordon  1:05:31

I think they moved, they moved to each other, but they moved the needle for me. They showed me what the lifestyle is supposed to be like, because they fuck the crap out

Mallory Gordon  1:05:38

of it. I was just thinking we should have led with this. That’s the most sexy I’ve ever seen on property

Mickey Gordon  1:05:42

like I there was there was banging going on. I mean, they kept it in the play rooms for the most part. It was like an ethical Caligula. They mean, they had, you know, electroshock orgies and regular orgies and other orgies they had. I mean, volleyball orgies, they just everything turned into an orgy and

Mallory Gordon  1:05:59

they don’t even have a volleyball coordinator.

Mickey Gordon  1:06:01

It’s still there. Really promise we walked right past it. You just weren’t paying attention.

Mallory Gordon  1:06:04

i Okay. Yeah, it’s a there wasn’t. That’s Hopkins scenes. I wasn’t interested.

Mickey Gordon  1:06:08

Yeah. Well, everyone’s naked. So it’s not really quite as impactful as the top end scene was fair, or is homoerotic. Yeah, but whatever. Anyway, that is kind of our recap of our casual Swinging 2023.

Mallory Gordon  1:06:22

Yeah, thanks for enduring our babble. And, sir,

Mickey Gordon  1:06:25

what you’re gonna get next is the companion episode to this that is entirely the attendees.

Mallory Gordon  1:06:33

Yeah. So we’ve gotten quite a few audio files from people that were on this trip. And it was humbling. And what’s another word? It? It was humbling, but it was.

Mickey Gordon  1:06:48

I loved every bit of it. I promised everybody before we left this trip.

Mallory Gordon  1:06:52

I was dancing through the house. Like it just it was energizing.

Mickey Gordon  1:06:56

Yeah. Well, I promised everybody that was on this trip. Two things. Number one, this trip is not ours anymore. It’s theirs. It’ll always

Mallory Gordon  1:07:04

be theirs. Yeah. We aren’t

Mickey Gordon  1:07:07

going to advertise that we’re not going to pay to advertise this trail. We’re going to talk about it like we do. But we’re not going to go out and buy ads on STC or SLS or we’re not going to promote it. We’re not going to promote it on our website or anyone else’s, I want to make

Mallory Gordon  1:07:21

sure that we protect in and help to curate the energy and the musical chance that they they have they are the culture and I will protect that with almost my life. Yeah, this point because I, I would give anything to give that to them again and more.

Mickey Gordon  1:07:37

I completely agree with you. And so the next thing I promised them is that this next episode is theirs. This is their time to talk about what they brought home both in their mind and their heart from a place where there’s truly magic in the sand. And that’s what he always does. And that’s a wrap. If you got to want to talk about it with us or reach out to us please feel free Mallory’s going to tell you in about 10 seconds where to do that and we will help you find your own stood a set of stories to tell about Hedo with casual swinger next April.
